IT HAS BEEN 2563 DAYS SINCE LEXI WAS REMOVED FROM HER FAMILY

Lexi’s Story

On March 22, 2016, Lexi’s story captured the hearts of millions in the United States and around the globe.

Lexi is a six-year-old girl from Santa Clarita, California who has spent the last 4 years of her life in a loving foster home, surrounded by siblings and caring, de facto parents to whom she had emotionally attached. Thanks to an egregious misapplication of the outdated Indian Child Welfare Act, Lexi was abruptly removed from this home on March 22, 2016, without any psychological preparations for transition.
